Then, fellow senior Kayleigh Krueger helped Mines win the second game 9-0 in five innings by hitting a three-run homer over center field fence. By the end of the series, Krueger was tied for eighth place on Mines’ career RBI records with 117.

The following day, the Orediggers hosted its official Senior Day ceremony and racked up its final two wins of the regular season.

In the series’ final game, the Orediggers took a commanding 6-0 lead in the first inning. Senior Sidney Wilson and Larson’s back-to-back singles scored the first two, and then Krueger hit a sacrifice fly to center field to make it 3-0.
