After an electric weekend full of buzzer-beaters, overtime wins and emotional highs and lows, the Final Four matchups are set for the Denver Coliseum. 

Starting this Thursday, a total of 24 teams in 4A, 5A and 6A are still alive and will clash for a chance at a state championship berth this Saturday. 

Below you can find every game tipping off this week in both girls and boys basketball. Here are the games in descending class order, starting with the girls’ side.

Girls 6A 

All games are held on Thursday, March 7 at the Denver Coliseum. 

  • No. 1 Cherokee Trail takes on No. 4 Valor Christian at 5:45 p.m. 

Cherokee Trail took care of business against No. 9 Mullen 47-39 in the Great 8 round last week. In the Sweet 16, Cherokee Trail beat No. 16 Highlands Ranch 54-30. In the first round, Cherokee Trail walloped No. 32 Fountain-Fort Carson 69-28. 

Valor Christian rolled No. 12 Rock Canyon in the second half of the Great 8 round to win 60-44 and advance. In the Sweet 16 round, Valor easily beat No. 13 ThunderRidge 64-34. In the first round, Valor handled No. 29 Poudre 74-30. 

  • No. 3 Legend takes on No. 7 Regis Jesuit at 7:15 p.m. 

Legend advanced to the Final Four after rolling No. 6 Horizon 62-35 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Legend won by another huge margin against No. 19 Doherty 73-41. In the first round, Legend beat No. 30 Arvada West 59-38. The Titans are winning by an average of 26.6 points in postseason play so far. 

Regis Jesuit advanced after upsetting No. 2 Cherry Creek 50-44 in the Great 8. In the Sweet 16, Regis escaped No. 23 Denver East 69-61. In the first round, Regis handled No. 26 Eaglecrest 53-34.

 Girls 5A

All games are held on Thursday, March 7 at the Denver Coliseum. 

  • No. 1 Air Academy takes on No. 4 Northfield at 11 a.m. 

Air Academy advanced to the Final Four after beating No. 8 Frederick in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Air Academy handled No. 17 Palmer Ridge 47-29. In the first round, Air Academy cruised by No. 32 Widefield 79-44. 

Northfield is averaging about 66 points per contest in the postseason. They advance after beating No. 5 Windsor 66-53 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Northfield rolled over No. 13 Lewis-Palmer 66-41. In the first round, Northfield beat No. 29 Silver Creek 67-38. 

  • No. 2 Roosevelt takes on No. 3 Mead at 2:15 p.m. 

Roosevelt beat No. 7 Montrose 60-45 in the Great 8 round last week. In the Sweet 16, Roosevelt cruised by No. 18 Northridge 76-46. In the first round, Roosevelt won by 30 again, beating No. 31 Falcon 61-31. 

Mead has also won comfortably en route to the Final Four. In the Great 8 round, Mead took care of business against No. 11 Standley Lake 54-41. In the Sweet 16 round, Mead beat No. 14 Mountain View 71-60. The first round brought Mead a 54-31 win over No. 30 Glenwood Springs. 

Girls 4A

  • No. 2 D’Evelyn takes on No. 3 Riverdale Ridge at 11 a.m. 

D’Evelyn rides a stellar year into the Final Four after a dominant 55-39 win over No. 7 University in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, D’Evelyn handled No. 18 Severance 67-41 to advance. In the first round, D’Evelyn faced No. 31 Arrupe Jesuit and won by a huge margin of 91-18. 

Riverdale Ridge advanced after winning big over No. 6 Colorado Academy 67-36 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, the Ravens survived No. 14 The Classical Academy 49-44. In the first, round, Riverdale Ridge rolled No. 30 Weld Central 62-11. 

  • No. 1 Holy Family takes on No. 4 Resurrection Christian at 2:15 p.m.

No.1-seeded Holy Family advanced to the Final Four after dominating No. 9 Peak to Peak 52-25 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Holy Family beat No. 16 Moffat County handily with a score of 79-24. The first round brought a huge 83-14 win over No. 32 Eagle Ridge Academy. 

Resurrection Christian makes a Final Four appearance after a win over No. 5 Pagosa Springs 53-44 in the Great 8. In the Sweet 16 round, Resurrection Christian handled No. 13 Jefferson Academy 54-20. In the first round, the team whooped No. 29 The Academy 71-11 to advance. These offenses pitted against each other will make for an exciting Final Four bout. 

Boys 6A

All games are held on Friday, March 8 at the Denver Coliseum. 

  • No. 4 ThunderRidge takes on No. 8 Eaglecrest at 5:45 p.m. 

ThunderRidge is still soaring after a 62-60 overtime win against No. 12 Rock Canyon in the Great 8 round. ThunderRidge beat No. 13 Cherry Creek 51-47 in the Sweet 16 round. In the first round, ThunderRidge rolled No. 29 Fort Collins 79-44 to kick off the team’s postseason run. 

Eaglecrest is exciting just by still being alive as the No. 8 seed. The team upset No. 1-seeded Fruita Monument in the Great 8 round, shocking the 6A tournament bracket. In the Sweet 16, Eaglecrest survived No. 9 Ralston Valley to win 53-49. In the first round, Eaglecrest narrowly beat No. 25 Castle View 59-49.

  • No. 6 Valor Christian takes on No. 7 Smoky Hill at 7:15 p.m.

Valor is coming off a big upset win over No. 3 Chaparral in the Great 8 round. The Eagles won 66-46 to advance to the Final Four. In the Sweet 16, Valor beat No. 11 Doherty handily with a final score of 71-47. The first round brought another easy win for Valor over No. 27 Mullen 70-52. 

Smoky Hill might be the talk of the tournament so far after upsetting No. 2 Mountain Vista at the horn in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Smoky Hill beat No. 10 Regis Jesuit 70-61. In the first round, Smoky Hill survived No. 26 Horizon 66-57 to advance. 

Boys 5A

All games are held on Thursday, March 7 at the Denver Coliseum. 

  • No. 2 Vista PEAK Prep takes on No. 3 Windsor at 12:45 p.m. 

Vista PEAK advanced after beating No. 7 Ponderosa 57-41 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Vista PEAK rolled No. 15 Discovery Canyon 57-34. The first round brought Vista PEAK a huge 76-35 win over No. 31 Palisade. 

Windsor makes its Final Four appearance after hanging on to beat No. 6 Lewis-Palmer 74-68 in the Great 8 round. The Sweet 16 brought an easier win for Windsor over No. 14 Thomas Jefferson 65-49. In the first round, Windsor knocked off No. 30 Standley Lake comfortably with a 68-35 win. 

  • No. 1 Northfield takes on No. 4 Mesa Ridge at 4 p.m.

Top-seeded Northfield advanced to the Final Four after a 61-52 win over No. 8 Mead in the Great 8 round last week. In the Sweet 16, Northfield handled No. 16 Longmont 60-25. The first round brought a dominant win over No. 32 Thornton 92-44.

Mesa Ridge easily handled No. 12 Dakota Ridge in the Great 8 round, winning 68-44 to advance to the Final Four. In the Sweet 16 round, Mesa Ridge hung on to beat No. 13 Green Mountain 65-59. The first-round matchup against No. 29 Sand Creek brought another easy win for Mesa Ridge with a final score of 77-50. 

Boys 4A

All games are held on Friday, March 8 at the Denver Coliseum. 

  • No. 1 Kent Denver takes on No. 5 Colorado Academy at 12:45 p.m. 

Top-seeded Kent Denver advanced to the Final Four after a big 74-56 win over No. 9 DSST: Green Valley Ranch in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Kent Denver rolled No. 16 Pueblo Central 96-51 to advance. The first round was a walk in the park for Kent, winning by a whopping 98-41 over No. 32 D’Evelyn. 

Despite being a No. 5 seed, Colorado Academy has cruised to the Final Four. In the Great 8 round, Colorado Academy rolled No. 4-ranked Pagosa Springs 63-43 to advance. The Sweet 16 brought another easy victory over No. 12 Peak to Peak 57-41. In the first round, Colorado Academy dominated No. 28 Middle Park to win 70-34.

  • No. 2 Resurrection Christian takes on No. 3 Lutheran at 4 p.m.

Before another No. 2-versus-No. 3-seed clash, Resurrection Christian advanced after beating No. 7-ranked DSST: Montview 72-54 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, the team rolled by No. 15 Fort Lupton 75-45. The first round brought a less-convincing 37-29 win over No. 31 Basalt. 

Lutheran advanced to the Final Four after taking swift care of No. 6 Riverdale Ridge 65-31 in the Great 8 round. In the Sweet 16, Lutheran survived No. 14 DSST: Conservatory Green 65-58. The first round was a cakewalk for Lutheran as they knocked off No. 30-ranked Eagle Ridge Academy 75-33 to advance.
