Holy Family scored five times in the first inning. Izaak Siefken had a three-run double. Jaden Delgado accounted for the other first-inning runs with a double.
Connor Cooney, Ryan Chacon and Blake Hammond had two hits for Holy Family. Kolton Miller and Brady Ingalls had two hits for Ponderosa.
The loss dropped the Tigers into a Friday, June 25, semifinal contest against either D'Evelyn or Cheyenne Mountain. First pitch is set for 12:30 p.m.
