The girls basketball game between Legacy and Mountain Range high schools was postponed Feb. 2 because of bad weather.

Girls basketball

Fairview downed Mountain Range 50-39 in Boulder Jan. 31. Emma Jiminez led the Mustangs with 19 points. Mya correa was next with seven.

No stats were available for the Knights.

Horizon beat the Mustangs 67-34 in Westminster Feb. 4. No stats were available for the Mustangs.

Girls swimming

The Mustangs placed eighth at the Front Range League meet over the weekend in Thornton.

Results: 1-meter diving: 3. Alexandra Wallis, 385.75 points. 100-yard freestyle: 4. Marisa Inouye, 51.62 seconds. 100- bacstroke: 6. M. Inouye, 58.5.  100- breaststroke; 4. Sydney Pippert, 1:07.78. 500- freestyle: 5. Addison Constantinides, 5:25.25. 200- freestyle relay: 4. A. Constantinides, Lena Brown, Faith Kleszczysnki, S.Pippert, 1:43.33.

Boys basketball

Legacy beat the Mustangs 64-46 on the Mustangs' floor Feb. 1.

Daniel Wilson led Mountain Range with eight points. Matthew Elmore and Jack Colwell were next with six.

Horizon beat Mountain Range 84-51 on the Hawks' floor Feb. 5.  No stats were available for the Mustangs.

Wrestling

Legacy beat Mountain Range 42-31 at Lakewood High School Feb. 4. Mountain Range picked its contested match wins from Zachary Cronholm (120), Trysten Bobye (126), Kyle Lewis (132) and Juell Sanchez (145).

The host Tigers beat the Mustangs 51-20. Lewis, Kaelob Qualls (152) and Bowen Schneider (170) won their contested matches.
