Thoughts on Klotz
If I were the reporter interviewing Merlin Klotz, in the article “Clerk urges Pence to declare some states’ elections illegal” by Elliott Wenzler, I would have asked Mr. Klotz, the head of our Douglas County elections, about his motive for his Facebook post declaring elections in seven states illegal.
Who does he think he is? Oh, excuse me, he is our elected authority on elections. Then what gives him the right to challenge the electoral tally on a conservative blog? Oh, the First Amendment and freedom of speech, although not surprisingly that right is challenged by the head of Douglas County Democrats who disagrees, finding a way to package his speech as an ethical violation. Ha, when did Democrats discover ethics? And that’s the point. We would not have had illegal elections if the Democrats had ethics.
