Keep Van Winkle in House

Bipartisan leadership is more important than ever. As polarization grows, it’s crucial we have leaders who can stand in those gaps and represent our voices in a unifying manner. Nationally, we have a great example of this in Cory Gardner who was recently ranked the third most bipartisan senator in the country. Locally, we’re fortunate to have a similar bipartisan leader in Kevin Van Winkle, our state House representative. Kevin Van Winkle puts people over partisanship. This past year he’s led and passed 13 bills with strong bipartisan support. This is a rare and important accomplishment in our Democrat-controlled state government.

A native Highlands Rancher, Kevin knows and cares about the issues that matter most to us like health care and schools. Kevin recently received the “Hero in Health” award from Healthier Colorado for his leadership on pro-health bills. He also twice-earned the Colorado Medical Society’s Legislative Champion award recognizing his focus to deliver healthcare solutions. Championing students and teachers, Kevin worked to increase K-12 funding by $600 million, including significant funds to secure schools, improve mental health resources, and prevent violence. Kevin was also recently named the CO Association of Realtors “Legislator of the Year.” They recognized his leadership on public policy that builds better communities, preserves our environment, and ensures economic vitality.

To better balance our one-party dominated state government, we need proven bipartisan leaders like Kevin Van Winkle to represent our Highlands Ranch voices and values. Let’s reelect Kevin Van Winkle to continue serving our community with excellence!
