Government should back off

Our state government should not be putting restrictions on us. The role of our government is to work for us and to protect our inalienable rights as citizens of the United States. Therefore they should not take control of our lives and tell us what we can and cannot do.

In the past year, our government has been telling us that we have to stay home, we have to wear masks, and we can have limited people at gatherings. They do not have the right to do that. While putting these unlawful restrictions on us, they take control of our lives and try to tell us what we can do and what we can’t do. This reduces us down to subjects of the government who can’t make decisions about our own lives or what the appropriate amount of safety precautions are for us and our families.

We need to take back control of our own lives so that we don’t eventually become sheeple that can’t think for ourselves or make decisions. If we ever come to that point we will just become slaves to the government, which will totally reverse one of the key ideas of America, that the government works for the citizens.
