Letter - Douglas County needs Anderson

Posted

Why would John Anderson get back into the fray for sheriff after earning the post of commander and retiring from police work? The answer is simple. John Anderson is a patriot and rising crime is a call to arms. It’s been said that if those in charge had done their job, Anderson would be sitting on his porch swing sending kudos to county law administration.

Our candidate not only has to have the wisdom of Solomon in the battle of escalating crime, but he also has created a program informing voters of judges’ records. This plan emphasizes the need for partnerships in law enforcement. John’s leadership made him the lone officer from Douglas County to testify against the Colorado unconstitutional Red Flag Bill. Anderson ascended the ladder of law enforcement earning more titles than we have space to list. He also managed a multi-million-dollar budget for the Castle Rock Police Department and gained the respect of his many colleagues.

If you hear the words credibility, capability, integrity, honor, honesty and kindness, you’ll hear the name John Anderson attached to those accolades. With the systematic destruction in the last two years of our Bill of Rights without due process, we need a Constitutional Sheriff. We need Commander John Anderson at the helm as Douglas County Sheriff to put us back into the column of one of the best counties in which to live in the USA.

Save our beautiful county. Vote on June 28 for John Anderson, sheriff.
