Holy Family scored its runs in the first two innings and beat Frederick 12-0 in Broomfield June 8. Cruz Zamudio had the Warriors' only base hit. Blake Hammond had three RBIs and drove in six runs for the Tigers. Pitcher Izaak Siefken had 12 strikeouts.

The Tigers beat Severance 7-2 on Severance's field June 10. Holy Family finished the regular season with a 15-1 record. Hammond had a base hit and drove in a pair of runs. Siefken had two hits and an RBI.  Jacob Syverson struck out 10 in a complete-game effort.

Girls golf

ARVADA -- The Holy Family girls golf team captured the regional championship at Indian Tree June 10 and will compete as a group at the 4A state golf tournament in Aurora starting June 21.

Jessica Manson was the medalist. She fired a 3-unver 71. Madison Rooney finished with a 90. Ansley Schnelle carded a 97, and Liesel Heltz finished with a 103.

The state tournament is at CommonGround Golf Course.

Girls lacrosse

Holy Family topped Horizon 16-9 in Thornton June 8. Julia Hodell scored six goals for the Tigers, while Sidney Edmonds added four.  Goalkeeper Mary Sheridan Darschewski  made 17 saves.

Boys lacrosses

Jefferson Academy trimmed Holy Familly 13-9 in Broomfield June 8. Nate Mundt had three of the Tigers' goals. Oscar Sena and Landon Peters scored a pair of goals. Goalkeeper Brendan Staff had 13 saves.
