ERA class of 2021 gets its diplomas


Yes, it was in a parking lot.

Yes it was socially distanced. Two parents/guardians per graduate were allowed closest to the stage.

Yes, it was live-streamed to people in another part of the school parking lot.

And yes, it was a graduation program unlike any other for the class of 2021 at Eagle Ridge Academy in Brighton.

COVID-19 forced a redesign of a standard graduation. But as head of school Scott Richardson said after the program, his students wanted a ceremony.
