Fort Lupton High School's track team took time out of their practice schedule to volunteer at a middle-school meet on the FLHS track on April 28.
Fort Lupton Middle School placed sixth in both the boys and girls team scoring standings.
Marely Gomez took fifth in the girls' discus with a season-best throw of 59 feet 2 inches. Areli Salazar was ninth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 20 feet 9 inches.
Harold McClai won the boys' shot put. His best effort was a season-best 36 feet 5 inches.
Antonio Torres won the 110-meter hurdles in a season-best, wind-aided time of 18.81 seconds and was fourth in the long jump at 15 feet 2 inches. AJ Mack was seventh in that event with a best leap of 14 feet 2 inches.
Dacen Rodriguez was fourth in the 800-meter run, where his time was 2:47.06. He also placed seventh in the 400-meter run with a season-best time of 1:05.54.
