Columbine, Lakewood make state 5A soccer field

AURORA -- Two Jeffco teams advanced to the state 5A soccer tournament, according to brackets released by the Colorado High School Activities Association.

Columbine took the 23rd seed and travels to Broomfield for a first-round game at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27. The winner faces either Legacy or Ralston Valley in the second round Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Lakewood's Tigers are in the field, too. They drew the 18th seed and visit Denver East in the first round. The winner advances to play either Valor Christian or Doherty.
