Boys golf: Westsminster's Phasay takes third at EMAC major

AURORA -- Westminster's Bielly Phasay finished third in the individual stroke play portion of the first Eastern Metro Athletic Conference major (all-school) golf tournament Aug. 18 at Aurora Hills.,

Phasay, a junior, finished with a 2-over 74. it included two birdies on the back nine. One was on the 455-yard 14th hole. 

Jerry Logan finished with a 91, and Trystian Martin fired a 121.

The Wolves took seventh in the team standings.

The second major tournament is set for Thursday, Sept. 16, in Westminster. The scores from the two tournaments determine the EMAC champion and all-conference slots.
