Skyview rolled to a big, first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 61-37 home-floor win over Thornton Jan. 27.

Skyview scored its first points before the Wolverines ran an offensive play, thanks to a pair of technicals on the Trojans. When the game began on the floor, Skyview scored nine more unanswered points and led 19-3 after the first period.

Xavier Moralez led the Wolverines with 12 points. Cash Croom scored 11, while Jorge Rodriguez threw in eight. Davonte Henderson led Thornton with seven points. Clayton Jones and Caleb Gutierrez Paz scored a half-dozen.
