As part of the Littleton School District, Arapahoe High School is a comprehensive, college preparatory school that is committed to the goal of preparing 100% of Warriors for meaningful post-secondary opportunities. More than 93% of Arapahoe High School graduates continue their education at the college/university/trade school level. Arapahoe offers students many opportunities as 21st-century learners. Arapahoe has an outstanding teaching faculty that values academic rigor and believes that all students can learn at a higher level.
According to the school website, On Sept. 17, 1993, Arapahoe High School in Centennial and the Arapaho Nation from the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming began a relationship that promoted awareness of the co-existence of two very diverse cultures. It was on this day the "Arapahoe Warrior Assembly" took place. The "Arapahoe Warrior" signifies common ground shared between Arapahoe High School and the Arapaho Tribe. By working together within the boundaries of respect for our cultures, the school has set precedence in their communities providing a positive solution for their future in the midst of mascot controversy.
