Almost Home is celebrating 30 years of helping people experiencing homelessness and housing instability with its annual Spring Out of Homelessness Annual Fundraising Event.

The fundraiser is scheduled for  April 28 at the Brighton Armory Performing Arts Center and is being presented with Platte Valley Medical Center.

"This annual event gives us the opportunity to celebrate the success of our clients that have been able to 'Spring Out' of homelessness thanks to the generous investment of so many supporters and funders in our community," said Rachel Monroe, Philanthropy & Communications Director for Almost Home.

It's Almost Home's most significant fundraiser event, featuring this year a 90's theme for attire and décor. Tickets are $75 and the price includes dinner, drinks, a silent auction and trivia games.

Dinner is being catered by David Bondarchuck, founder of Scratch Catering Services. Monroe said Bonarchuck experienced homelessness when he was a teen but overcame it and has become a successful business owner.

"He had the amazing opportunity to help decorate the White House during the holidays as well as an appearance on the Martha Stewart show," said Monroe.

To purchase tickets, contact Rachel Monroe at Almost Home at 303-659-6199, or you can also order online at https://www.almosthomeonline.org/springoutofhomelessness
