Adams City shuts out Pomona

Adams City’s Emmanuel Alvarez collides with Pomona’s Jack Sawaged during a non-league match in Commerce City Sept. 15. Adams City used a pair of goals from Efrain Vidana in the second half to beat the Panthers 2-0. Goalkeeper Adrian Arriaga recorded the shutout and registered four saves. Adams City unleashed 15 shots at Pomona goalkeeper Daniel Korowajski. He made 13 saves.The Eagles won six of their first seven matches. They return to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at home against Northglenn.
