On Aug. 7, at about 4 p.m., the Monument Police Department
received a report from the Kohl’s Department Store at 15866 Jackson
Creek Parkway that a Kohl’s loss prevention officer had just been
confronted by a shoplifter with a knife and threatened with a gun.
While fleeing, the suspect swerved his vehicle onto the sidewalk of
the business in an attempt to run over the officer.

Suspect and Vehicle Descriptions

Suspect 1: Black male, about 30 years old, 6-feet 5-inches tall,
220-240 pounds, with short hair, a mustache and goatee, wearing a
black hat, black “Sean John” T-shirt, black shorts and dark
shoes.

Suspect 2: White Female, 20-30 years old, 5-feet 4-inches tall,
160-170 pounds, with long brown hair, wearing a gray T-shirt, blue
jeans with a dark purse.

Suspect 3: White Male, 20-30 years old, 5-feet 10-inches tall,
170-180 pounds, wearing a blue hat with a rhinoceros logo, a gray
Adidas T-shirt and light shorts.

Vehicle: Dark gray or green, mid 1990s Mazda MPV or similar SUV
with possible South Carolina plate 274PQH.
