Public notices are an important part of our communities and an essential element of democracy. They keep citizens informed of the day-to-day activities of government actions such as tax and fee increases, land use, and environmental decisions, delinquent taxpayer notices that can lead to a government seizure, foreclosures, and the expenditure of public funds. Colorado Community Media encourages citizens to regularly read public notices and to ask questions of their government as warranted.
