Ellis Arnold is the senior reporter at Colorado Community Media, focusing on stories that affect the Denver metro area regionally. He started at CCM in 2017 and has covered the city governments and school districts in Centennial and Englewood, along with the state legislature and coronavirus pandemic policy in Colorado.  

Ellis graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with degrees in journalism and political science. In high school, he began distance running — a habit that is now hanging by a thread. He’s still trying to stick with it. He plays guitar and writes music from time to time.
