Corinne Westeman is a reporter and photographer for the Golden Transcript. She joined Evergreen Newspapers in May 2016, working for the Clear Creek Courant and its sister papers in Evergreen, Conifer and South Jeffco. In May 2022, she shifted to covering the Golden Transcript full-time.

Corinne graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in journalism and English creative writing. Before moving to Colorado, she worked as a reporter and assistant editor at a trade publication in her hometown of Wichita, Kansas.

Living at the base of the foothills in Golden, Corinne enjoys hiking, snowshoeing and nature photography. She's also a bit of a film nerd and is always looking for local eateries that offer good food for reasonable prices. Feel free to offer recommendations.
