Jo Davis
Jonita Davis is a film and culture critic, author, and freelance writer. Her published books include Questioning Cultural Appropriation (2018 Enslow Publishing), Carrying On (2022 Saga Fiction), and the forthcoming We Gon’ Be Black Today: Exploration of Black Nerd Culture (2024 Chicago Review Press). She studied composition and criticism, earning a master’s degree from Purdue University. Davis is currently a member HCA (Hollywood Critics Association, IFSC (International Film Society Critics, and is a Rotten Tomatoes Independent Critic. You can find her work in Yes!
