Littleton Police Department announced a shelter-in-place this morning for the neighborhood near West Littleton Boulevard and South Huron Street.
Police put the order in place around 10:30 a.m. and lifted it around 11:15 a.m.
Police spokesperson Sheera Poelman said police were searching the area for a wanted suspect of a domestic violence incident that was reported on Nov. 8 on the 5500 block of South Curtice Street.
Littleton police pursued the suspect, and he allegedly ran, Poelman said.
Police then searched the area and did not find him.
Poelman said the police shut down the area out of an abundance of caution and searched the area with drones.
Poelman said the Littleton Police Department has a probable cause warrant for the individual and a warrant for the individual’s arrest is in progress through the district attorney’s office.
Poelman said the area is clear and there is no current threat to the public.
