LAKEWOOD, CO – Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) is proud to announce a special Flag-Raising Ceremony in honor of Veterans Day.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2023, and will pay tribute to the brave individuals who have served our country. The ceremony will be followed by a cake reception, bringing the community together to show gratitude and support for our veterans.
RRCC is committed to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of our nation’s veterans. We are honored to host this ceremony to show our appreciation for the sacrifices and dedication of our veterans. This event reflects our commitment to supporting our veteran students and creating a strong sense of community.

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, November 9, 2023
• Time: 11:00am
• Location: Red Rocks Community College (Lakewood Campus)
• Ceremony: The ceremony will commence at the East Entrance where event participants will be led to the flagpole, accompanied by bagpiper Michael Lancaster. There will be a moment of silence, raising of the American flag, and the playing of Amazing Grace by our musician.
• Reception: Immediately following the ceremony, attendees are invited to the Great Hall for a cake reception.

The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
