The 9th annual Hope House 5k and Fun Run will take place on May 7 at Lake Arbor Park, with the 5k slated to kick off at 9 a.m. and the Fun Run starting at 9:30 a.m. The event will also feature a Diaper Dash for crawlers, walkers and toddlers, and a vendor village featuring snacks and face painting.
Registration is open on Hope House’s website. Last year’s event raised a record-breaking $68,000 for the nonprofit, with helps teen moms with childcare and working towards self-sufficiency.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three fastest 5k times in the following categories: Adult Male, Adult Female, Youth Male (12 and under) and Youth Female.
