Employment Services Weld County and the city of Greeley are having their annual Young Adult Job Fair from 6 to 7;30 p.m. March 9, at the Island Grove Center., 421 N. 15th Ave, Greeley.
“We are thrilled to be able to help hundreds of young adults gain access to tons of employers in one location,” said Karina Amaya-Ragland, director of employment Services of Weld County. “The young adult job fair may be the start of their careers. Seeing their interest increase as they meet with different employers is always inspiring. Most will end up being interviewed that day or called in later for follow-up interviews.”
People from ages 15-24 will have the opportunity to meet businesses with openings that match their interests and skills. Also, they can learn about industries such as communications, construction, landscaping, health care, government, law enforcement, hospitality, entertainment and information technology.
Amaya-Ragland suggests that those planning to attend bring several copies of a resume and register in advance at ConnectingColorado.com.
In addition, Employment Services Weld County offers a weekly workshop for those who want to learn resume writing, interviewing skills, and job searching tips. To sign up for workshops, visit https://www.weldgov.com/Government/Departments/Human-Services/Employment-Services/Workshops.
Employment Services Weld County is also looking for employers that offer diverse job positions full-time or part-time. Event spots are still available, so employers interested in participating visit: www.eswc.org.
