DENVER — Skyview’s Daisy Gonzalez (25-9) did not place among the 127-pounders at the state girls wrestling tournament.
She split four matches. Her wins were against Gabby Dowling of the Pueblo School District in the first round and Aubrey First of Poudre High School in the second round of the consolation draw. Crystalyn Felan of Lamar pinn ed Gonzalez in the quarterfinals, and Ashley Booth of Mead earned an 8-3 decision in the third round of consolation matches.

DENVER — Skyview’s Daisy Gonzalez remained in the running after last night’s rounds of consolation matches at 127 pounds.
After a quarterfinal-round loss, Gonzalez beat Aubrey First 5-2 in the opening round of the consolation bracket. Gonzalez faces Ashley Booth of Mead later today.

DENVER — Skyview’s Daisy Gonzalez lost to Lamar’s Crystalyn Felan in the 127-pound quarterfinals this morning. Felan won by pinfall in 5:50.
Gonzalez’ first consolation round match is later this afternoon. The round begins at 4:30 p.m.

DENVER — Skyview’s Daisy Gonzalez pinned Pueblo Central’s Gabby Dowling in 3:28 of their first-round, 127-pound match at the state girls wrestling tournament Feb. 17 at Ball Arena.
The win pushes Gonzalez into the quarterfinals, where she will face Lamar’s Crystalyn Felan.
The quarterfinal round begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18.
