Eagle Ridge Academy staked its claim to second place in the Colorado League standings with a 63-46 win at Fort Lupton Feb. 7.
FLHS turnovers allowed the Warriors to jump out to an 11-point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Bluedevils cut the deficit to seven in the fourth quarter but couldn’t come any closer.

The win puts the Warriors and Skyview in a tie for first place with 5-1 conference records. Those two teams play Thursday night,. Fort Lupton is in third place with a 4-2 mark and faces Aurora Central Thursday night.
The Colorado League tournament is next week, and the district tournament begins Monday, Feb. 21, with play-in games.
