AURORA — Northglenn’s track-and-field teams combined to place fifth at the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference meet, which concluded May 9 at Hinkley High School.

Baseball

Boulder shut out the Norse 17-0 May 9 in Northglenn.

Adrein Armstrong had three hits and three RBIs for the Panthers. Ryan Sunderland had three hits and drove in two. Cooper Conroy had three hits and drove in one run.

Sam McFadden and Danny Castillo had Northglenn’s base hits.

The Norse beat Westminster 10-4 in Northglenn May 10. Tanner Evans had four hits and four RBIs for NHS. Ty Evans had two hits and drove in two runs, while Bryson Perry had two hits and drove in a run.

No stats were available for Westminster. 

Northglenn shaded Adams City 3-2 in nine innings in Northglenn May 12.

Luis Rascon had two hits for the Eagles, and Miguel Bustos drove in the Eagles’ only run. No stats were available for NHS.

Fort Collins beat the Norse 16-1 in Fort Collins May 11. Andrew Seest had three hits and two RBIs for the Lambkins. Teagen Crow added two base hits and drove in two runns. No stats were available for Northglenn.

Vista Peak topped the Norse 18-8 in Northglenn May 14. Perry and Ty Evans had two hits and drove in two runs for Northglenn. Tanner Evans had two base hits and an RBI. Yancy Morales had two hits and four RBIs for the Bison. Chris Marquez had three hits and three RBIs, while Brody Severin had four hits and a pair of RBIs.

Girls golf

Zoie Alarid of the Norse placed 21st at the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference major tournament at Buffalo Run May 12. She fired a 144.
