For the past few years our daughter has proudly, and compassionately, given five scholarships valued at $2,000 per scholarship through a foundation called Future Hope.We set this nonprofit up after she was hit by a train on her way to DCHS in 2002..
Under the leadership of Corey Wise, five students were picked from various High Schools within the district.
The only criteria was that the students were facing, and working hard, in overcoming adversity.
We are stunned by your politically driven decision to remove such a thoughtful educator.
