With an eye on the omicron variant of COVID-19 and staffing issues within the district, all Adams 14 School District students and staff returned to in-person learning Jan,. 24 and Jan. 25.

At various times since the holidaty break, remote learning was the order of the day for everyone connected with the district. Last week, Adams City and Lester Arnold high schools were the only institutions using remote learning.

A Facebook post from the district said it was keeping an eye on the variant and on staffing shortages.

“We will continue monitoring the data and will communicate any changes as soon as we are able to do so,” the post read. “In the meantime, we ask that you please make sure to get fully vaccinated and vaccinate your eligible children. It is going to take the entire community to help so that we can continue school in person.”
