As part of its “5 Days of Giving” campaign, Larry H. Miller Dealerships donated $10,000 to Hope House Colorado, an Arvada-based nonprofit that provides self-sufficiency programming for teen moms on Dec. 20. Hope House was one of 10 nonprofits that received funds as part of the campaign.
In its sixth year, “5 Days of Giving” saw the multi-state car dealership chain give out over $95,000 in donations to organizations including Boulder Voices for Children, Denver Dumb Friends League, Food Bank of the Rockies and YWCA Boulder County.
Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota General Manager Todd Hilleboe said Hope House was selected because of the work the organization does.
“We are definitely honored to be a small part of the work that is being done by Hope House,” Hilleboe said. “To see the positive impact on the lives of these young women is truly wonderful, and we appreciate all of the hard work being done by so many.”
Hope House Director of Development Lisa Schlarbaum said the donation was investment in the future of the moms Hope House works with.
“This donation is changing lives here at Hope House. Our moms are aged 15-24, so the financial help that is being provided is truly making an impact now and for years to come,” Schlarbaum said.
