Leadership lacks common sense
Douglas County leadership has added another stupid decision to the plate of many past decisions. Did they really expect their synchronized fireworks display to go off without any issues? We are in a severe drought and our open space is too dry to think having such a display would not create a problem. I enjoy a good firework display but realize under the current conditions doing so may cause problems. Luckily the spot fires did not create those problems.
Douglas County leadership continues to make poor decisions like the majority on the school board removing mask mandate and the commissioners thinking they can run their own health department, all of which will impact us in a negative manner. Get your heads out!
