Ring in the holiday season at the Highlands Ranch Mansion on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Santa will arrive at the mansion at 10:15 a.m., with plans to stay through the end of the event at 3 p.m.
The 2021 holiday celebration is free and open to the public. All ages can come enjoy music, gift vendors, face painting, horse-drawn hayrides, reindeer games and more.
Self-guided tours of the mansion, a gingerbread-themed scavenger hunt and a visit with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office mounted patrol will be highlights of the day.
Event organizers said most of the day’s events will be held outside, advising visitors to be sure and dress for the weather that day.
The Woodhill Small Batch BBQ food truck and the Knights of Columbus will be selling food and beverages.
Local elementary school choirs will be performing throughout the day and Douglas County Libraries will be hosting two story times.
The celebration schedule of events includes:
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — The historic mansion will be open for self-guided tours
10:15 a.m. — Santa arrives at the mansion
10:30 a.m. — Douglas County Libraries holiday story time
10:30 a.m. — The Summit View Singers performance
11:30 a.m. — Douglas County Libraries holiday story time
Noon — Roxborough Elementary School Choir performance
Free event parking is available at St. Andrew United Methodist Church north lot, 2903 S. University Blvd. Shuttle buses will take guests from the church to the mansion beginning at 9:30 a.m. No event parking is available at the mansion.
