According to the most recent development updates for Castle Rock, the town continues to grow, with plenty of commercial and residential projects moving forward.
In commercial development, the town’s website said a Shake Shack is coming to town. Located at 6489 Promenade Parkway, the 3,500-square-foot restaurant is currently under construction. The new location will include a drive-thru.
Shake Shack is a national franchise that started as a single hot dog stand in New York. The Castle Rock location is the third in Colorado.
A major project in Castle Rock’s downtown is listed as completed by town officials. Encore, a $72 million, 180,953-square-foot building next to Town Hall is slated to bring more living options to Castle Rock.
With the building’s completion, Encore sold out way ahead of schedule. Encore has 124 condominiums ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. Prices for the units range between $300,000 and $1 million.
Located at 20 N. Wilcox St., the seven-story Encore building also brings a 600-space parking garage that includes 300 spaces for public parking.
On the ground floor, the mixed-use building will bring added retail, office and restaurant space.
According to the town’s October development report, other projects in Castle Rock include:
Aspen View Academy additions: A 15,000-square-foot classroom and gymnasium, located at 2131 Low Meadow Blvd.
Canvas at Castle Rock: A 102-unit multi-family project located on a 10.76-acre site at the northwest corner of Crystal Valley Parkway and Plum Creek Boulevard. The project, currently under construction, will provide two-story townhomes for rent with an onsite clubhouse.
