Denver North beat Skyview 18-2 in 2 1/2 innings Sept. 7. The state’s mercy rule ended the game early. North scored 12 times in the second inning.

Volleyball

The Wolverines won their first match of the season by beating Middle Park 25-23, 25-21 at a tournament at Bennett High School Sept. 11.
