FORT LUPTON — Eagle Ridge Academy’s boys basketball team started out strong but couldn’t keep the momentum through the second half of a March 2 game against Fort Lupton.
The Bluedevils rallied in the second half to beat the Warriors 63-52. The Warriors led by 10 points in the first half but couldn’t keep up with FLHS’ defense in the second half. FLHS outscored the Warriors 44-28 in the second half.
Fort Lupton made things a little easier, too, by making 12 of 18 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.
Maddax Farrer led the Bluedevils with 12. Roman Vasquezs chipped in with 11, Dante Villarini added 10. Colton Onken led the Warriors with 16 points. Hunter Hill had 13 points, all in the first half.
