The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in identifying a woman who stole a camper trailer from Mountain View RV and Boat storage near Weld County 4 just north of Brighton.
On Friday, December 25th about 11:49 a.m. is when the woman drove off with the camper it causing damage. The camper trailer has been recovered but the deputies are still trying to locate the suspect.
According to the deputies, the suspect is a heavy-set woman, could be of Latino descent in her early 20s or 30s with long black or dark brown hair. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or black coat with blue jeans and long brown boots. The woman was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD model year 2020 work truck with black aftermarket rims, running board, and bed rail caps. There was no bed liner.
