Live music played as people meandered down one-way walking paths set up in downtown Castle Rock.
Signs reminded people how traffic should flow, that they should keep at least 6 feet of distance from one another and that masks were required to be in the area. Touchless QR codes were posted around the area for people to scan and enter giveaway contests.
The 31st Annual Castle Rock ArtFest did not look like years past with COVID-19 precautions in place but artists and art enthusiasts were still able to turn out for a socially-distanced festival on Sept. 12.
The annual event is typically held the weekend after Labor Day each year. The festival, hosted by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, gathers artists and craftsmen from across the country to showcase and sell their work.
