Iddle Bits of This and That in Westminster is hosting a senior birthday party for all seniors 80 and over. The event is 2 p.m. on June 21, at the gallery at 3969 W. 73rd Ave. in Westminster. All seniors can attend with a paying guest to receive a free personalized birthday and present. A guest ticket is $15. The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, National MS Society’s 29th Newmont Bike MS, presented by Point B is slated for June 28-29. Over 3,000 cyclists will set out on a two-day ride that covers course options ranging from a 134-mile express route to a 177-mile century route. All riders begin at Front Range Community College in Westminster, convene at Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins Saturday evening and return to FRCC on Sunday. Colorado’s Newmont Bike MS is the National MS Society’s third largest Bike MS fundraising ride in the U.S., with cyclists set to pedal their way to raising nearly $4 million. Residents can enter the “Why Westminster” Video Contest to give their interpretation of this theme in 30-90 seconds. The contest winner will receive $1,000. Enter the contest between Monday, June 16 and Sunday, July 13. The contest winner will be announced before the Movie in the Park on Friday, Aug. 15.
