Vincent G. Junglas, 84, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, in Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. Born Feb. 4, 1930, in Easton, Pa., one of seven children of the late Joseph and Loretta (Kubric) Junglas. He graduated from Easton High School in 1948, served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight engineer, and graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Fla. He was employed as an aviation mechanic at United Airlines. Vincent had a great sense of humor and shared his gift of laughter with his family and friends. He had a private pilot’s license and spent countless hours aloft, offering family and friends the opportunity to experience flying in small aircraft.
In addition to his loving wife Irene (Urban), he is survived by his children, Kathryn (Cal) Feingold, of New Jersey, Sharon (Alan) Klug, of Aurora, and Vincent, of Brighton. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemarie McGouldrick, of Bethlehem, Pa.; brother, Carl and his wife Joan (Garbarini), of Bethlehem, Pa., and brother William and his wife Gertrude (Schenk), of Easton, Pa. He is survived by six grandchildren, Heather, Jess, Aaron, Leah, Christopher, Vincent, his wife Ashley (Hughes), and great-granddaughter Elinor.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret (Lenau) and Mary (Rosenbusch); and his brother, Joseph.
Rosary service and visitation were held April 24, 2014, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial followed on April 25, 2014, at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
