Adams 14 School District, in coordination with almost a dozen community groups, will host an immigration education forum from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Lester Arnold High School, 6500 E. 72nd Ave.
The event will provide an opportunity for students and parents to gain knowledge in immigration issues. Workshops offered will include deferred action, obtaining a drivers license and understanding your rights.
Resource tables will be operated from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the workshops from 6 to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be sold to benefit Lester Arnold High School, and childcare will be available.
