               GREELEY – Fort Lupton’s Michelle Seiler finished second in the girls high jump at the Boathouse Sports Welco Championships track meet April 25 at the University of Northern Colorado.

                Seiler’s top jump was 4 feet 11 inches, a season best. Her performance put her into 13th place among the state’s class 3A high jumpers. The top 18 qualify for the state meet in Lakewood in mid-May.

                Brye Windell took fourth in the boys 800-meter run in a time of 2:04.27, a season best. His time is the 11th-fastest in the state this spring. He cut 0.5 of a second off his previous best time and is 0.38 of a second from breaking the school record in the event.

Cruz Tijerina was fifth in the 400-meters (52.15 seconds, a top time this season) and seventh in the 200-meters (23.51, also a top time for the season). Tijerina sits in 11th place in the state 3A rankings in the 200-meters and 14th in the 400-meters.
