PVHS on lockout after student threatens himself, SRO

BRIGHTON — Prairie View High School was put on lockout April 24 after a student threatened to harm himself and the school’s resource officer with a sharp implement.

Tweets from Brighton School District 27J said the student was removed from the school grounds. No one was injured. The lockout was lifted.

Extra police were called to the school as a precaution, according to 27J.
