Citizens will be able to give their input on park and trail experiences through a new forum presented by Jeffco Open Space on Wednesday, April 16, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, 4005 Kipling St, Wheat Ridge, in the ballrooms. Guests are welcome to come and listen or join the conversation by contributing ideas during small discussion groups.
The newly adopted Jeffco Open Space Master  Plan sets a goal for 25 miles of new trail to be built in the parks in the next five years. The public will be informed on how to get involved in future working groups.

The annual Courage Walk event recognizing survivors and families of violent crime starts on Saturday, April 12 at the Jeffco courthouse, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, at 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the actual walk starting at 11 a.m.
