To the citizens of Adams County:
First and foremost, I’d like to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your Clerk and Recorder for the past four years. It’s truly been an honor and privilege to serve in this role, and it’s been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career.
I’m proud of the accomplishments my team and I have made in these short four years.
We’ve been able to drastically reduce wait times by 85 percent in the Motor Vehicle Department, save taxpayers over $1 million in the 2016 Election and digitize 20 million public documents — dating back to 1901 — that are now available online.
Achievements like this in such a short amount of time speak to how absolutely incredible and awesome the staff in these departments really is. It’s been a privilege to work alongside each and every one of them.
In the coming months, I look forward to spending more time with my family, and I’m excited to see where my next journey takes me.
I wish only the best for Adams County’s newest Clerk and Recorder, Josh Zygielbaum, and in due time, he will come to appreciatethe amazing opportunity he’s been given.
