Mountaincholia by Aria Fawn

Posted by valkarie

Opening Reception, Saturday, July 28, 5 - 8:30pm

Mountaincholia is the intoxicating and inexplicable emotion of being within dark and wild places. The low groans within mountains like the backbones of old gods. Mysteries caught between pale jaws that grin beetle clean beneath the leaves. The loving violence of nature and the weight of existence in the blind eyes of jackalope and the bleeding houses of bears. To listen to the bugle of the dark unicorn in the woods and the whispering cries of mice shot through by the arrows of mink. The silent, screaming, and inexpressible feeling of longing, belonging and ecstasy.

Hours: W: 4 - 7pm, TH: 4 - 9:30pm, F: 4 - 8:30pm, SA: 12 - 6pm, SU: 12 - 5pm
