Hawks dominate at Mountain Range

Horizon High School’s women’s basketball improved 7-1 in league play Feb. 2 with an impressive win over rivals Mountain Range.

The Hawks dominated the Mustangs 70-21. They now have an overall 15-4 record.

Senior Samantha Deem led the Hawks with 15 points. Senior Alyssa Jimenez and Junior Olivia Waufle had 12 points each.

After facing Boulder Feb. 5, the Hawks travel to Fort Collins to face Poudre High School Feb. 8.

Mountain Range, now 13-7 overall and 5-4 in league play, travel to Fort Collins, facing first Fort Collins High School Feb. 5 and then Rocky Mountain on Feb. 8.
