The recall of five Green Mountain Falls' trustees has been cancelled. According to Judy Wiedner, of the Concerned Citizens Committee, the most-recent proposed recall petition had been rejected, due to the misspelling of the name of trustee “Ralph LoCascio,” one of the five on the recall list.
Wiedner made the announcement at the town board meeting Sept. 17. The committee, she said, plans to submit a revised recall petition, targeting only two trustees, whom she did not name.
The committee expects to submit the petition by Oct. 15, she said.
