The Woodhouse Day Spa Launches Spa Program for Kids and Teens
(Castle Rock, Colo.)---The Woodhouse Day Spa in Castle Rock announces the launch of Young Woodhouse, a new offering of experiences crafted specifically for young spa customers between the ages of 6-17. The new menu will be debuted at a mother and daughter spa day and social at The Woodhouse Day Spa located at 880 W Happy Canyon Rd., Suite 130 on Thurs., June 14 from 5-8 p.m. The event, hosted by co-owners Desiree Moore and Amber Long, will offer complimentary mini services, refreshments for kids and adults, cupcakes, door prizes, a spa service giveaway and a bonus gift to the first 50 mothers and daughters who R.S.V.P. for the event.
The new Young Woodhouse menu includes shorter versions of many of the regular menu items and specialized young adult services, including 25-minute manicures and pedicures, body scrubs, 25- or 50-minute massages, skincare and acne facials, clarifying back facials and waxing services. Young spa-goers can also pick from the Young Woodhouse spa packages, including a Mom and Me Spa, Spa Date, Cleanse and Clear Treatment and The Glam—a two-hour spa day with manicure, pedicure, facial, eyebrow wax and make-up application.
“In addition to the new menu of spa treatments, we are especially excited to showcase our Young Woodhouse private parties,” said Moore. “The Castle Rock area has been craving a fun, girls-only party destination and now young women can enjoy their birthday, girl’s night out or graduation here, with a party theme like ‘Cupcakes and Cartwheels,’ ‘Chasing Fireflies,’ or ‘Ice Cream Social,’ each customized with themed services, treats and party favors.”
Since The Woodhouse Day Spa opened in the area, spa-goers of all ages have enjoyed its carefully-conceived menu of services. The Young Woodhouse Program was created out of appreciation for the strong following of young customers that visit Woodhouse for the same results-oriented treatments and rewarding spa experience as adults do. The program incorporates an educational aspect by teaching young clients about proper skincare techniques to focus on during the teenage years, including skin-related changes associated with puberty and acne care and prevention.
“Young Woodhouse is definitely not just for the girls,” said Moore. “We want young men to feel just as good about themselves and learn how to take proper care of their skin as well!”
At the mother and daughter spa day, girls under 18 need to wear a bathing suit for body treatments and have parental consent for services. Girls under 16 must be accompanied by a parent and young women ages 17 and 18 need a letter signed by a parent. Young men interested in spa services are encouraged to try the athletic sports massage to release muscle tension, the purifying acne facial or the clarifying back facial.
The Young Woodhouse Program will roll out at many of the Woodhouse Day Spa locations across the country this summer.
Guests should R.S.V.P. by calling the spa at 720-895-8488.
